Shadow Wildling is the photographic practice of artist and designer Aimée Wilder, exploring vulnerability, identity, intimacy, and the power of self-expression. Through evocative self-portraits and experimental storytelling, Wilder turns the lens inward, working with light, shadow, color, and the body as a medium for examining transformation, desire, courage, and emotional experience.
Wilder’s artistic journey began in New York and deepened through her studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before evolving into a career spanning art, design, interiors, and creative collaborations. Shadow Wildling extends that practice into photography, offering a more personal and unfiltered space for exploring the possibilities of the photographic medium.
